Isolated severe storms possible, changes on the way for the weekend

We have made it to the end of our wet weather pattern, but there is one more risk for storms on Thursday.

A ground stop due to thunderstorms has been lifted at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, but another stop or delays are still possible until 11 p.m.

Severe Weather Team 2 is tracking showers and storms that are starting to move through metro Atlanta.

The chance for storms will stick around through the afternoon. There will be frequent lightning, heavy rain and the possibility for stronger wind gusts
